Finishing Strong!
After six years I finally graduated from college! I know college is suppose to take four years, but it took me six, and I am okay with that. The day I turned in my last final exam I realized my diploma is not going to say it took her six years to graduate! So, why am I saying this? Because the most important thing about a goal is finishing strong! I can’t even count how many times I said I wanted to just quit while in my last semester of school. The class work got harder, my work schedule got busy, and I started to question why I was even there. Then I remembered the reason I went to school in the first place. When we have a long term goal it is important to focus on the reasons we set that goal in the first place so we aren’t distracted by everything trying to stop us. So, this month I want you to take a look back at some of the goals you have been working on for a while and remember why what you are trying to achieve is important to you in the first place. For me, I wanted to finish school to make my parents proud, improve my knowledge in the journalism field, and set a good example for teens like you. List your reasons, review them often, and finish strong!
