I know you know their name, but really who is in your bed? It used to be that for the most part guys were the only ones who may pretend to be something they were not just to get a girl to have sex with them but these days that is not the case! There are people who are having sex with the intent to get pregnant or spread STD's such as HIV just because they have been infected. Some people may want to get back at a friend or just do what they think will make themselves popular... Whatever the reason these are things you generally won't find out until it's too late.
When you meet someone and they seem so nice and you have been dating for a while you want to trust them. However, sex is one of those decisions in life you just can't undo. I can't tell you how many people, girls and guys both, that I have spoken to that said that everything was good but after they had sex with someone the person just all of a sudden changed! The truth of the matter is yes sex can change things between people, but you are probably just starting to see more of who that person REALLY is!
If someone is just trying to have sex with you after they have done so they have no reason to keep up any act they have been putting on to win you over. Some guys will just flat out lie and say they love you, and there are girls who are just trying to trap you by getting pregnant! So, you have to start really thinking about the decisions you are making and who you are making them with. So, How can you do better?
Listen to your instincts. This is God probably trying to tell you something. If you have a bad feeling about someone, you should leave them alone.
Ask questions! If someone seems to good to be true they probably are. so figure out what their patterns have been with other relationships. Ask what happened to their last girl/boyfriend. And most importantly ask what their motives are! Where do they see things going with you in the future?
Remember abstinence is best and that anyone who really cares about you won’t pressure you into having sex especially if that is a step you are not ready to take!
