Acne Care Tips

No one can escape an occasional pimple or black head. If you are suffering from acne, then be assured that you are not alone. Here are 5 Easy Steps to improve your skin and get rid of your unwanted acne:

Water, Water, Water.

This is the most simple acne care tip. There are so many toxins in your body that you probably don’t even know are there. Drinking four to five glasses of water a day can flush out these toxins, which will then reduce the acidity in your body that come through your skin (unfortunately on your face).

Sweat It Off

When you do a physical activity, it is very important to shower as soon as possible after the workout is complete. The sweat you release during the activity mixes with the natural oils in your body to trap dirt and bacteria under the skin. If you cannot shower right after your work out, you may consider carrying alcohol pads to wipe your face.

You Are What You Eat.

In this case, you are what you eat means that what you eat will be obvious on your face. Your skin, along with the rest of your body, benefits from a good diet. So do not neglect eating the correct amount of fruits and vegetables.

Eat Carrots?

Carrots contain beta-carotene (Vitamin A), which strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and actually prevents acne. Carrots, which contain this vitamin, are essential for the maintenance and repair of the tissue the skin is made of. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant needed to rid your body of toxins.

 

Zinc It!

Zinc is an antibacterial agent and a necessary element in the oil-producing glands of the skin. A diet low in zinc can actually cause acne breakouts. Foods that are high in zinc are cereals like all-bran cereals, nuts, vegetables, and baked foods.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “beauty comes from within” or “they’re beautiful from the inside out?” Well, it’s true. So often, teens focus on their exterior 90 percent of the time, which only leaves 10 percent to focus on what really matters… the interior.

These images play a large role in shaping the body image you have of yourself. For instance, if you see

People are always following trends with fashion, behavior, and style. But, have you ever considered the root of these trends? Where did they come from? Are the trends negative or positive? Here are some interesting things you should consider before asking for a tattoo and sagging your pants.

 

Baggy Pants. You many pull your pants up over 50 times per day because they start to drift downwards as you walk. You may even have that slow dip walk so your pants don't fall down altogether. You are flaunting the designer label and name brand of  your underwear or maybe even tucking your shirt into the elastic band of your boxers. These are mistakes so many boys make, without actually understanding the original meaning of "saggy pants". Here's a history lesson: Prisoners wore their pants low, or sagged, because belts are a popular way to commit suicide, use as a weapon in fights, or attempt to hang others. For the same reason, prisoners are also not allowed to have shoestrings.An even more obvious (and intense) reason not to sag the pants is because it introduces to other men that he is homosexual. Besides these reasons, saggy pants is not fashionable and never sends a positive message. Even if your friends are doing it, reconsider your sagging.

 

Tattoos. Tatoos are a trendy thing that you may get in order to showcase your style or showcase something that's important to you. Throughout history, in prison, the tattoo - professionally done and homemade- represents the ultimate symbol for gang members. Getting a permanent mark is a sign of showing total commitment to the gang or showing things like who you are, what gang you're in, what your beliefs are, what you've done, where you've been, how many years you've been in jail, and even things like how many you've killed. Known symbols include teardrops under the eye, as well as spiderwebs on the elbows to symbolize people killed. You may think that your tattoos are just your "style" because you want a heart, your mom's name, or a religious symbol... but tattoos are permanent, so truly consider this decision and talk to your parents before putting a permanent mark on your body.
