If you play a sport or take part in a physical activity, it is most likely that you will be competing and working with others. Playing on a sports team or rollerblading around the neighborhood with friends will cause you to step outside of your comfort zone to learn the importance of cooperating with others to reach maximum results in any situation!

Along with too many fries and sodas, building activity into your life at a young age can help fight off disease, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and other ailments. Sitting at home like a couch potato will only bring on problems long-term.


Playing sports builds self-confidence

Staying active can increase your self-image, which is the way that you view yourself. Instead of watching television when you return home from school, consider participating in activities that can build your self-image and self confidence.

It is proven that participating in sports and staying active are some of the best stress relievers. They stimulate the mind and allow for you to sweat and burn calories. Whether you play a sport at school, bike ride during your free time, or make up your own workout program to do in your living room, you will feel much better.
